Who We Are at Strong Foundation Films
Our Mission
At Strong Foundation Films, our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful, faith-based storytelling. We create inspiring films and series that reflect real-life struggles, reveal God's transforming love, and encourage audiences to grow in faith.
Through every production, we strive to bring parables to film—building stories that strengthen faith and impact lives.
About Us
Founded in 2011, Strong Foundation Films is a Christian film production company dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through meaningful storytelling.
Our films and series bring real-life experiences to the screen, exploring themes of faith, love, forgiveness, redemption, and hope. Through relatable characters and inspiring stories, we seek to encourage believers, reach those searching for truth, and demonstrate the life-changing power of God's Word.
From parables to films, our purpose remains the same: to glorify God and create stories that strengthen faith and impact lives.
Producer/ Pastor Sun East
Raised in South Korea until she was 19, Pastor Sun East came to know God when she was 25. She met Him through a dream filled with promises that she could not yet understand, but her faith in what He had revealed to her in the dream led her to the United States.
Sun East has been a Pastor since 1990. She was inspired by the teaching of Dr. Yonggi Cho and was privileged to raise up the church that she established throughout the world, bringing the healing power of God to the poor and indigent. Many know her from her frequent appearances on television and radio, as well through her missions worldwide.
Since 2005, Pastor Sun has authored over 300 worship songs and over 20 books based on teachings from the Bible. In 2001, the Lord impressed on her heart to create faith-based films that would help people draw closer to the Lord. However, it was not until 2007 after writing her novel based on the book of Hosea, that the Lord revealed to her that her novel would become a movie. This was the starting point of faith-based films as a ministry for Pastor Sun.
